Video Editor skilled in storytelling and narrative editing (weddings, documentaries, cinematic content), proficient in Premiere Pro and After Effects, who can deliver high-quality, emotionally engaging videos while collaborating with the team and following brand style guidelines.
Workload & Schedule
Ongoing project-based (gig work)
Primary Responsibilities
- Creative / Narrative Video Editing (Top Priority)
- Edit raw footage into clean, emotionally engaging, and compelling narrative videos.
- An ideal experience includes weddings, documentaries, or cinematic storytelling content.
- Apply strong pacing, rhythm, and visual flow according to the brand’s tone and story direction.
Premiere Pro Editing
- Perform color correction, audio syncing, and sound cleanup.
- Maintain high production quality throughout all edits.
Collaboration & Project Management
- Work closely with the lead editor to learn, follow, and match their established editing style.
- Manage and share project files efficiently according to team workflow.
- Keep assets and project folders organized.
Revisions & Feedback
- Apply revisions promptly based on feedback from the lead editor or client.
- Meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Creative Input (Encouraged)
- Suggest ideas to enhance storytelling, pacing, or overall visual presentation.
- Stay updated with modern editing and narrative video trends.
Organizing and presenting key information effectively increases the likelihood of turning your visitors into customers.
Requirements / Skills
- Strong storytelling and narrative editing skills (weddings, documentaries, narrative reels, etc.).
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Proficient in After Effects
- Comfortable working within shared project workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand and style guidelines.
- Willing to align with the lead editor’s established style.
